How To Install Dread Extensions
To the ends of your hair connect the extension and your hair with a dreadlocks crochet hook. Make sure your extensions are the same width as your natural dreadlocks.
Comb the top end of your extension until its wispy.

If you buy regular clip-in extensions its necessary to dread them yourself. Line up the extension to your hair and place the hook into the extension pulling your hair in the extension. Repeat down the whole extension or stop towards the end for a wispy look.

Sew the center of the extension against the center of your dreadlock using small tight stitches. Stick the hook in snag the loose hair pull through and then repeat around the whole dread. Lay the top of the extensions parallel to the middle of your natural dread or where their widths match.
Made-at-installation extensions take more time in the chair as they are well made and installed at the same time. Install the dreads with the basic technique and put a sturdy elastic after a small piece of braiding. Sew the extension onto your dreadlock.
At one head of the human hair dreadlock extensions there is an annulus for you to connect your natural hair and the dreadlock extensions hair. Repeat with remaining sections. Wash your hair then re-twist your hair as youll do with dreadlocks.
Take your latch hook and thread a single ended dread onto it pic 3. Take the end of your natural hair rip it into the annulus of the dreadlock hair extensions then roll up your natural hair ends after it ripping into the annulus. Wind the free leg of thread around the dread.
